This Educational Psychology course is designed to provide undergraduate students of English Language Education with an in-depth understanding of the key concepts in psychology related to student development, the learning process, and the factors that influence learning activities. Students will study various psychological theories relevant to education, including cognitive, social, and emotional development theories. In addition, this course will explore psychological aspects that impact the learning process, such as motivation, intelligence, learning styles, and individual differences.
Students will be encouraged to analyze problems that arise in learning activities, both internal (such as psychological barriers in students) and external (such as the influence of the learning environment). From this perspective, students are expected to identify the challenges faced by learners and design effective solutions. Furthermore, the course will examine different teaching approaches from a psychological viewpoint, enabling students to design teaching strategies that are more effective and aligned with the developmental needs of learners.
Overall, this course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply psychological principles in enhancing the quality of the learning process, creating a learning environment that is more conducive to, and supportive of, the optimal development of learners.
