Competition Concept

Futsal consists of matches between teams of five players on each side. Each team aims to score as many goals as possible against the opponent’s goal within a set time. The matches are organized in a tournament format, with teams progressing through preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds. Critical aspects for each team to focus on include fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Player Regulation
  • The maximum number of players registered per team is 9.
  • The Player Line-up List includes 5 core players and 4 reserve players.
  • Only players authorized during the technical meeting are eligible to be listed in the DSP.
Match Regulation
  • Match time is 2x10 minutes gross for the preliminary round and 2x10 minutes net for the semifinals and finals, with a 3-minute break between halves. 
  • Each team is allowed one timeout per half, with a duration of 1 minute.
  • Player substitutions are free but must comply with the applicable rules. 
  • The line-up consists of a maximum of 9 players. 
  • The bench can accommodate 6 people: 4 substitutes and 2 officials.
  • Teams must arrive 15 minutes before the match starts.
  • A team is considered to forfeit the match if it does not attend the match and has not responded to up to 3 calls.
  • If a team refuses to compete according to the match schedule set by the committee, it is declared a walkover (WO) and loses 3 goals.
  • Teams causing a commotion that leads to match stoppage will be declared defeated with a 3-goal loss and fined IDR 3,000,000.
  • Players are not allowed to wear any jewelry that could pose a risk to themselves or others during the match. 
  • Only players registered during the technical meeting are allowed to compete.
  • In cases of force majeure, if the match is stopped, it will be resumed based on the match commission’s decision, maintaining the same score and remaining time at the stoppage point.
Uniform Guidelines
  • Players must wear a numbered shirt, shorts, long socks, and a shin guard. 
  • Each team is required to have 2 different sets of uniforms. 
  • If both teams’ uniforms are similar, the referee will decide which team needs to change their uniforms.
Violations and Sanctions
  • The penalty for yellow and red cards is as follows: Rp50,000 for a yellow card and Rp100,000 for a red card. 
  • Players receiving a red card for committing a riot are not allowed to participate in the following match.
  • If a riot occurs during a match, both teams involved will be disqualified. 
Protest Regulation
  • Protests must be submitted within 1 hour after the match concludes. 
  • The protest must be submitted in writing by the team captain, manager, or coach and should be respectful and sportsmanlike.
  • Each protest must be accompanied by a protest fee of IDR 1,000,000. The Judges Commission, through the match chairman, will communicate the outcome of the protest, whether accepted or rejected, orally or in writing to the team captain, manager, or coach who filed the protest.
  • The protest fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the protest is accepted or rejected.

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Honorable Winner
