Qur'anic Scientific Research Competition

• Participants from each university are formed into one group, with a maximum of 5 members per group. 
  
• Registration must be completed through the online form provided by the committee.
  
• Each university is entitled to send their best participant with a maximum of one work. 
  
• The scientific works presented during PORSENI VI must pass the first stage of selection by the jury. 
  
• The selected scientific work will be presented by 2 representatives from the team.

• The theme of the Qur'anic scientific paper is determined by the committee team and includes:

• The title of the scientific paper is free, but must reference one of the predetermined themes.
  
• The allowed languages for the Qur'anic scientific work are English, Arabic, and Indonesian.
  
• Plagiarism check is conducted by the committee using Turnitin, with a maximum similarity limit of 20%.
  
• The use of AI in writing will be assessed independently by the jury.
• The scientific paper must be 10-15 pages long, following the template determined by the committee. The template can be downloaded here

• The assessment consists of two stages:
• Desk Evaluation Stage, conducted by the judges two days after the manuscript submission deadline. The judges select the 20 best works from all submissions. These selected works are invited to be presented at the PORSENI event. Results are announced by the committee two weeks before PORSENI.
• Final Stage, the 20 best works are presented in front of a panel of judges. Duration of presentation is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes, divided into 5 minutes for the presentation 10 minutes for a question-and-answer session.
• Main aspects assessed: 
  
• Article format: neatness of typing, writing style, layout, use of good and correct Indonesian language, conformity to the template.
  
• Substance and Ideas: relevance to the theme, originality, uniqueness. coherence of thought patterns. theoretical accuracy, complexity of discussion, accuracy of analysis or discussion.
• Usefulness: contribution to science, relevance to community needs, potential for implementation.
• Source of Information: credibility of the sources, accuracy of the information, novelty of the sources.
• Conclusion: coherence of the discussion from beginning to end.
• All Aspects from desk evaluation, plus:
• Visualization of ideas in the presentation.
  
• Verbal ability to convey ideas.
• Ability to answer questions from the judges.
