Competition Concept
Pencak Silat features both matches and demonstrations of traditional martial arts, focusing on technique, speed, and agility. Participants compete in various categories, including tanding (fighting) in this category, two fighters face off in a ring, adhering to strict rules to ensure safety and sportsmanship. Meanwhile, in seni (art and demonstration), participants perform a series of movements judged on their beauty, harmony, and technical accuracy.

| Protest | If a contingent is dissatisfied with the match result, they can file a protest within 10 minutes of the winner’s decision. To do so, they must deposit IDR 2,000,000 with the match chairman. After the deposit is received, the manager may complete the protest form. The decision following the appeal is final, and the deposited money is non-refundable. |
