Scope of study in the field of nutrition includes:
- Study on the relationship between nutrients, metabolism, and the growth and development of school children.
- Eating behavior and nutritional adequacy of school children, as well as influencing factors.
- Assessment of the nutritional status of school children and influencing factors.
- Identification of potential food sources and development of formulas/foods to optimize the nutritional intake of school children.
- Development of media/methods for nutritional counseling/education to promote good eating behavior and prevent nutritional problems in school children.
- Effectiveness of nutritional support for school children, including healthy canteen options.
School Children's Health
Scope of study in the field of health for school children includes:
- Mapping and analysis of common health issues, oral and dental health, reproductive health, and mental health in school children.
- Identification of determinants of general health, oral and dental health, reproductive health, and mental health, as well as the development of instruments for promoting healthy living in school children.
- Planning strategies to address issues related to general health, nutrition and oral health, reproductive health, and mental health in school children.
- Implementing strategies to encourage healthy living behaviors in school children.
School Environmental Sanitation
Scope of study in the field of school environmental sanitation includes:
- Mapping and analysis of issues related to sanitation/environmental health in schools.
- Identification of determinants of school environmental sanitation and development of instruments for promoting a healthy school environment.
- Planning strategies to address issues related to sanitation/environmental health in schools.
- Implementing strategies to promote a healthy school environment.
Our Activities
This video was a summary of our project entitled "Initiate a Health Promoting School Curriculum for Prevention of Stunting and other Nutrition-Health Related Problems: Project Partnership with UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education through Optimization of Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS)". The project was the second year research that received funding from the Indonesian Government, BIMA Kemendikbudristek, scheme: Fundamental Research grant 2024.
