Procedure for Research Proposal Submission

Mandatory Outputs:
  1. At least 3 scientific articles accepted in Accredited National Journals, with a minimum rank of 3 or 4 (Sinta 3 or Sinta 4), authored by the MBKM students with the student's name as the first author per year.
  2. At least 2 scientific articles accepted in Accredited National Journals, with a minimum rank of 1 or 2 (Sinta 1 or Sinta 2), authored by the lecturers with the lecturer's name as the first author per year, or 1 scientific article accepted in a reputable International Journal (indexed in Scopus) with a minimum rank of Q3 or Q4, with the lecturer's name as the first author per proposal.
Funding from external sources beyond UMS is expected to further support the continued growth and excellence of this program, including avenues such as the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti). This support may be secured through various programs, including but not limited to the Program Prioritas Nasional, Unggulan Stranas, Hi-Link, Kerjasama Antar Lembaga, RAPID, Insentif Ristek, dan lain-lain.

Criteria and General Requirements

  1. The research team leader must be a permanent lecturer of a study program, agreed upon in the program meeting (may change with each research cycle), with a minimum academic rank of Lector.
  2. There must be a minimum of 3 (three) permanent lecturers and a minimum of 3 (three) students, preferably participants in the Credit Transfer Program equivalent to 12-20 credit hours.
  3. There must be an explanation of the connection between the research proposal and the scholarly vision of the study program or the strategic issues outlined in the University Research Master Plan, supported by a Letter of Endorsement from the Head of the Study Program (signed by the Head of the Study Program) as provided in the attached example.
  4. The research team leader should not be the lead researcher in another research project.
  5. The biodata of all research team members must be attached and signed in blue ink by the respective team member.
  6. The title of the student's research must be formulated by all team members and is part of the overall research topic proposed.
  7. The Turnitin results for the submitted proposal should not exceed 30%.
  8. Each study program can only propose one research title.

Procedure for Research Proposal Submission

Research Proposal for Study Programs Flagship Research is submitted by completing the proposer's identity and uploading the proposal on the following page https://mybima.ums.ac.id/

Steps to be followed are as follows:

  1. Log in to MyBima using your UniID username and password.
  2. Select "Riset" (Research) and click on "Riset Batch Aktif" (Active Research Batch), then click "Ajukan Usulan baru" (Submit a New Proposal).
  3. Choose the scheme you want to submit and click "Riset Pascasarjana" (Study Programs Flagship Research).
  4. The screen will display the "Persyaratan Usulan Riset Pascasarjana" (Requirements for Study Programs Flagship Research Proposals).
  5. Make sure all the listed requirements can be fulfilled and check the boxes provided.
  6. Fill in all the fields and selections in the available form.
  7. Ask team members to approve their participation by logging into MyBima with their UniI ID.
  8. Download the approval sheet from the MyBima page.
  9. Complete the approval sheet from LRI and combine it with the complete proposal, then upload it.
  10. Click "Ajukan Proposal" (Submit Proposal) and attach the soft file of the proposal (in document (doc) or PDF format) to the proposal document icon. This will register the Study Programs Flagship Research Grant proposal as a proposer in the current batch/period.
  11. If the proposal passes the desk evaluation, the proposer will be invited to present and discuss the Study Programs Flagship Research Proposal, the time of which will be scheduled by LRI UMS.
