This course discusses the elements of public speaking and provides opportunities for practice. The focus of this course is to train students to apply public speaking skills using their own language. In addition, students are encouraged to independently develop their own public speaking materials. Most of this course teaches speaking skills beyond the teaching profession, so students also acquire public speaking competencies for purposes other than teaching.
