This course is intended to equip students with writing skills and abilities on standard English tests such as TOEFL and IELTS. By providing exercises - which are mostly the materials of this course - students will be provided with an overview as well as skills on how to solve the writing test questions on the standard English test mentioned above. The scope of Standardized Test Writing material generally includes: (1) introduction to the types of questions and writing topics on the TOEFL and IELTS and TOEIC, (2) Writing exercises based on the scheme of each type of standard English test. This course is presented by giving examples for each topic and almost 95% of activities are given with writing assignments.

• Memahami jenis-jenis soal test menulis pada test bahasa Inggris berstandar (IELTS, TOEFL dan TOEIC).
• Mampu menulis teks deskriptif berdasarkan pada diagram, grafik dan gambar dan teks argumentatif untuk menjawab soal yang berupa pemberian opini/pendapat.
• Mampu menulis secara yang terintegrasi dari test membaca (reading) dan menyimak (listening).
• Mampu memberikan opini secara tertulis dengan memberikan alasan dan contoh- contoh.
• Mampu mengembangkan paragraf berdasarkan gambar yang disediakan dan esai pendek.

2. Writing with descriptive writing type based on diagrams, pictures, and or tables (IELTS)

3. Writing with the type of argumentative writing to answer questions in the form of giving opinions/opinions (agree/disagree type of questions) (IELTS)

4. Integrated Writing: a writing test based on a reading and listening test (TOEFL)

5. Independent Writing: writing opinions with reasons and examples (TOEFL)
