This course provides knowledge for the Faculty students on Guidance and Counseling in schools. The materials include: understanding of the background of the need for guidance and counseling, basic concepts of guidance and counseling, Islamic counseling guidance, types of guidance and counseling activities, student problems in schools and how to overcome them, self-development techniques through extra-curricular activities, and services in Guidance and Counseling for Children with Special Needs in inclusive education settings.In addition, the course integrates the values of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan as an ethical and philosophical foundation in the implementation of guidance and counseling practices within educational institutions.

• The formation of pedagogic competencies for prospective secondary school teachers who master their roles as teachers/educators as well as mentors
• The formation of the personality competencies of prospective high school teachers who are exemplary as Islamic supervising teachers
• The formation of social competence of prospective secondary school teachers who are skilled in educative communication both to peer teachers, community students.
• The formation of professional competence of prospective secondary school teachers who are able to implement BK in schools in accordance with applicable theories and codes of ethics
• Have the ability to develop student potential (academic and non-academic) to the fullest.
