Academic Writing courses are presented in the fourth semester. This course is intended to support the competence of students in writing the final project (thesis) and writing scientific articles based on the written thesis. For this reason, the scope of the Writing IV material is directed at the technique of writing a final project or scientific article. In general, Writing IV materials include: (1) introduction to outlines of academic writing (Journal article/paper/research proposal (thesis proposal), (2) Writing background for research proposals and scientific publications,
(3) Techniques for writing direct and indirect quotes to avoid plagiarism, (4) strategies for writing literature reviews to position research topics, and how to determine and write research problems, (5) Techniques for writing research methodology. Here students are guided to write research types, sampling techniques, data collection tools, etc., (6) Techniques for writing research results and how to discuss them. Here, students learn how to write research results and present them in paragraphs or in tables or figures, (7) Techniques for writing conclusions and writing bibliographies. In this stage students will learn various techniques for writing conclusions, and will also be introduced to how to write bibliographies based on several systems, for example, A.P.A, Harvard, MLA, etc.
