The Fiction course is a subject that must be taken by students of the English Education Study Program. This course trains students to write short stories and  analyse and appreciate fiction works. Starting with the introduction of the genres of fiction, students are then invited to dig deeper into Fiction and its builder aspects. Students can also recognise the Fiction writing techniques used by an author, so that the students will get to know various exposures used by the author for various purposes. Finally, students know how to create their own fictitious stories, like short story using certain genre of fiction. Also, students are able how to appreciate or analyse fiction works critically.  

• Analyse and interpret fiction by applying literary concepts
• Create a short story that demonstrates mastery of narrative elements.
• Write a critical review of a fiction work, integrating literary analysis with evaluative commentary.
