Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has once again recorded an impressive achievement by winning awards at the Anugerah Diktisaintek 2025. The ceremony was held at Graha Diktisaintek, Building D, 2nd Floor, Jakarta, on Friday (December 19, 2025). UMS successfully secured four awards in categories considered strategic for strengthening higher education.
The four awards received by UMS include: Gold Winner in the Impactful Lecturer category awarded to Hardika Dwi Hermawan, S.Pd., M.Sc.; Gold Winner in the Best Management of KNB Scholarships by Private Universities category; Gold Winner in the Private University Social Media category; and Silver Winner in the Private University Website category. These achievements reaffirm UMS’s strengths not only in academics, but also in governance, internationalization, and public communication strategies in the digital era.
UMS Vice Rector II, Prof. Dr. apt. Muhammad Da’i, M.Si., stated that the achievements represent recognition from both the public and the government for UMS’s contributions.
“Of course, these awards are a form of appreciation from the public and the government for UMS. We hope this will become motivation and inspiration for us to continue moving forward and to further demonstrate that UMS’s presence brings real impact and benefits to society,” Da’i said after the Anugerah Diktisaintek 2025 ceremony on Friday (19/12/2025)

He emphasized that the achievement of the four awards further strengthens UMS’s commitment to continuously delivering higher education that is relevant, impactful, and oriented toward the public interest.
Meanwhile, Hardika Dwi Hermawan, S.Pd., M.Sc., recipient of the gold winner award in the Dosen Berdampak category, expressed his gratitude for the recognition he received.
“Hopefully this award can inspire others, while also becoming a responsibility for me to create a broader and more sustainable impact,” said Hardika.

The Anugerah Diktisaintek is an annual appreciation event organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) to honor individuals and higher education institutions considered to have made tangible contributions in supporting the transformation of national higher education.
A total of 547 awards were presented to recipients from various sectors, ranging from State Universities (PTN), Private Universities (PTS), Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), ministries and government agencies, to members of the press and journalists. The awards served as an appreciation for outstanding performance in advancing higher education, science, and technology in Indonesia.
Winning four awards in a single event further solidifies UMS’s position as a leading private university. This achievement reflects UMS’s consistency in developing higher education that is adaptive, inclusive, and oriented toward delivering tangible impact.
