Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) raised the issue of Green Business at the International Conference on Economic and Business Study (ICOEBS) in the Ball Room of The Alana Hotel, on Tuesday (6/12).
FEB UMS again held the fourth ICOEBS with the theme “Green Business in Emerging Economies: Current Issues and Future Challenges.” The ICOEBS organizers invited Rangga Handika, Ph.D. from Tokyo International University, and Dr. Salut Muhidin (senior lecturer of Macquare University Australia) as keynote speakers at this conference.
Vice-Rector 3 for Student Affairs of UMS, Ikhwan Susila, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for the participants’ hard work completing papers and research to be presented at the ICOEBS international conference.
The Urgency of Green Business
In the conference Ikhwan emphasized the importance of promoting Green Business.
“Ikhwan Susila mentioned that the global community is actively discussing ways to protect the earth and ensure companies prioritize environmental sustainability,” said Ikhwan Susila.
Ikhwan highlighted the potential of Green Business in developing eco-friendly products and fostering a sustainable environment. He hoped the conference would serve as a platform for sharing ideas and generating positive impacts.
The ICOEBS conference welcomed 137 participants, including one online participant from Nigeria," stated Kusuma Wijayanto, the Chairman of the ICOEBS Committee.
