The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has entered into an MoU with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and PT Natural Cosmetica Indonesia (NCI). This MoU formalizes the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy, BRIN, and PT NCI in developing cosmetic formulas using natural ingredients.
The collaborative agreement was officially signed on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, by apt. Erindyah Retno Wikantyasning, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahmad Fathoni, Head of the Applied Microbiology Research Center BRIN Cibinong, and apt. Maryati, PhD, representing PT NCI.
The collaboration aims to develop commercially viable products from the research. Further discussions were held to explore additional areas of cooperation with BRIN and lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
