The Physiotherapy Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), proudly announces the launch of Jelajah Tulang, an interactive learning website focused on the anatomy of human bones. This online platform, created by Physiotherapy student Ouwada Aiko Suda.
The Jelajah Tulang website was successfully demonstrated at SMP (Junior High School) Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Special Program (PK) Kartasura on Wednesday (11/9/2024). Aiko explained that her website allows students to easily explore human anatomy, with a particular focus on the skeletal system. The platform includes three audiobooks and interactive quizzes.
She added that the website offers excellent features, including child-friendly visuals designed like picture books and clear audio narration. These features make the learning experience both in-depth and enjoyable for students.
“It's been a wonderful experience to introduce this website to students at Al-Kautsar Junior High School," said Aiko. "I believe technology can act as a bridge to make learning more engaging and effective, offering students a deeper understanding of the topics they are studying.”
During the demonstration, students were guided on how to navigate the website and use its interactive features to explore the different types of bones in the human body.
The UMS Physiotherapy student also highlighted the significance of integrating technology into modern education to better prepare students for a digital future.
SMP Al-Kautsar Science teacher, Desi Yulihapsari, M.Pd., expressed her enthusiasm and appreciation for Aiko's work.
“Jelajah Tulang is a refreshing tool for us. The interactive presentation of the material makes learning enjoyable and easier for students to grasp,” Desi said.
At the end of the demonstration, the students were given a link to an evaluation form to provide feedback on the Jelajah Tulang. The feedback will be used to improve the quality and effectiveness of the platform in supporting the learning process of bone anatomy.
