Hate Speech Detection in Bahasa Indonesia: Challenges and Opportunities
The research published in the International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications, Vol. 14, No. 6, 2023, focuses on detecting offensive language in Indonesian social media. Our Activities
The Center for Social Informatics Studies conducts regular coordination meetings to map directions and plans for upcoming activities.

To expand its network with other research centers, the Center for Social Informatics Studies actively initiates collaborations with other research centers and universities, both domestically and internationally.

As a newly established research center, promotion and branding through social media and a website are initial steps to introduce the Center for Social Informatics Studies to the public.

Efforts to foster a research culture at UMS, especially in the Faculty of Communication and Informatics, are consistently promoted. The Center for Social Informatics Studies actively supports the writing of articles for reputable journals/seminars.
