Encourage Female Students in Underrepresented Subjects

UMS actively encourages women to pursue studies and leadership roles in fields where they are traditionally underrepresented. Through various outreach and collaboration initiatives, the university fosters confidence, skill development, and visibility for female students across disciplines.

In its university outreach, UMS empowers female students by involving them in programs such as the Duta Perpustakaan initiative and Duta Kampus training, which enhance public speaking, leadership, and communication skills. Inspirational stories, like that of a female accounting student serving as a presidential protocol assistant, further motivate others to excel beyond academic boundaries.

Through collaboration, UMS partners with programs like Narasi Academy to promote self-confidence and self-love among women. The university also supports female athletes who have achieved remarkable success, such as winning bronze medals in fencing and excelling in taekwondo at national competitions — showcasing women’s strength and capability in all arenas.
